Born in Nanjing, Chenxi Fu has been on an Odyssean journey toward God through multiple continents: an atheist in China, a seeker in Europe, baptized in Wisconsin, and discipled in California. After acquiring his Ph.D. from UC-Santa Barbara, Chenxi sensed an irresistible call to ministry and gave up a tenure-track professor job in 2019 for the Ministry of the Word. In May 2023, Chenxi graduated from Westminster Seminary California with his M.Div. degree and started serving at CFCCSJ shortly after. It is his major calling to feed the sheep of God, especially the Chinese-speaking and English-speaking congregations in the Chinese Church, with nothing but the Word of God. Being confident that God will raise up in every generation a faithful remnant who are not ashamed of the gospel, Chenxi is happily committed to participating in the divine mission.
